Linebergers Maple Springs Farm
This farm has been in the Lineberger family since 1928, just before the Great Depression, when it was owned by Graham Lewis and Sarah Ann Lineberger.
Back then, the farm was counted on to provide produce for the growing Lineberger family. When they passed on, Ethan’s grandfather, Harold Lineberger, moved back to the farm. He used the $350 he made from his first strawberry crop to buy a ring for Patsy Eaker.
Our main crops are strawberries, blackberries, peaches, and pumpkins. We also grow muscadines, Concord grapes, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, watermelon, cantaloupes, peppers, greens, sunflowers. Our newest addition is elderberries. We have picked our first crop in 2021 and we have it bottled and for sale in the store!
In the fall, we grow over 100 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and fall decorations. The farm is crowded with young families taking hay rides and playing on the playgrounds. It seems like fall is everyone’s favorite time of the year! Hope to see you soon!
